may 8 -- photo shoot at rio grande botanic gardens

karla is working doing a part-time massage gig at spirit river healing arts and needed a picture for her bio, so we decided to head over to rio grande botanic gardens located here in albuquerque. we had a blast-- looking at the new blooms, the green, and finding new parts of the gardens.



this is a poppy that was waving in the breeze near the entrance of the park.



we started into the gardens and decided to just take random shots of karla at certain areas of our favourite spots.

spring break

it's finally spring break-- i've noticed that when school is happening and i'm kind of have school on my mind, pictures just aren't happening. but it's spring break now and i'm ready to take some photos, plus, karla and i are heading to portland, oregon for some relaxation and some fun times. the camera will be out and i'll be uploading new photos then.

this is day 10. as i explained in previous post, i was caught up in mid-terms, so i'm thinking this is day 10 of photos. yesterday, karla and i went to the botanical gardens here in albuquerque and had a wonderful time. it was great seeing spring appear through the leaves and looking around at the wonderful colours.

i love flowers. flowers to me are pure happiness. they light up my eyes and make me smile from deep within.

week's passing

i havent posted in a few days, more like a week because i've been super busy with mid-terms but today (sunday) we visited the albuquerque botanical gardens and i took over 200 new photos. i'll upload some tomorrow.

ahh it's friday-- it has been a long week and i decided to take the dogs out for a photo adventure. while driving, i'm always looking for places to take pictures, so today i ventured to one of those spots, actually, two spots.

so this is really harder than what i expected, especially when its butt cold outside and nothing is really happening around the neighborhood. i'm thinking i'll start taking my camera with me when i'm out and about. -twist my arm-

Today I have made up my mind to start my 365 day photo shoot. Every day I will be taking a picture of something that interests me and posting it. I love to shoot- and have many different ideas of what I want to do with my art. For now-- this is one of them.
